Our Sleepy Little Village

The village we have been staying in for about a week is called Hirschfeld. This is the type of village that when you tell people you are staying there, the first response is always "why?". Kurtis says it reminds him of the movie Hot Fuzz because everyone leaves their doors unlocked and Emma tells us that there has never been any sort of crime in this village... ever.

The view from the balcony, everyone grows their own food!

Waving the England flag, it is rugby season after all!

The cluster of footballs in the backyard (we have been banned from using the word soccer!)

The family that we are staying with, the Pattinsons, are British and have lived here about 6 years. The family consists of Emma(mum), Aaron(dad), Cameron(12 yrs), Arlie(7 yrs), Jonah(4 yrs) and baby Darwin(2yrs). We spend our time around the house playing with the kids and trying to be as helpful as possible when Aaron leaves for the week to goto his job on the Romanian border.

The dogs fighting over a toy, we watched them for hours.

These German keyboards are impossible to use! Try switching the Z and Y keys and then replacing all of your punctuation with umlaut letters! Fun!
